The CP9660 Caliper from AP Racing, found in the FK2, FK8 and FL5 Type R AP Racing Big Brake Kit, is designed for motorsport use, meaning it lacks a pad retention mechanism. This is a great idea for when you quickly need to swap out pads, which is common in motorsport applications however for road/track day cars, it is not. This Pad Retention Kit will reduce the movement of the pad within the caliper making for improved usability and comfort.
The kit comprises of 2 stainless steel springs that locate into 2 machined blocks (clips).
