FAQ
Q. Will this work on more than one vehicle? A. The FlashPro is locked to one vehicle and will only work with a jailbroken ECU.
Q. So does that mean one Hondata FlashPro can only work with one ECU or car only? A. One ECU and vehicle at a time. You can unlock the FlashPro by returning the ECU to stock, and then transfer to another vehicle as long as that vehicle's ECU has been jailbroken.
Q. If the ECU had been reflashed by another maker, will FlashPro still work? A. Probably, but since we do not know what changes have been made by other parties we cannot say for sure.
Q. Which ECU's are compatible with this FlashPro? A. RPY-G04 Euro, RPY-J04 Japan, RPY-N04 South Africa (Europe, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Pakistan, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand).

The S6-I ECU offers an extremely high level of precise engine management control. The triple processor unit uses a high speed RISC processor for code execution and an additional large FPGA for high speed engine position tracking, allowing the scheduling of code to be independent of signal patterns, increasing flexibility, efficiency and accuracy under transient conditions. This powerful combination also allows advanced control algorithms but yet easy to map for the end user still using our SCal software and S6 Firmware.
The Third Processor present is available for in the future users to write their own code in C for Full Vehicle Integration via Canbus and Build some custom strategies to handle some of the unique requirements which are now found in OEM Applications. Q) Can I install a different in-tank pump?
A) Yes, the FK2 has a basic relay on and off control for the in-tank fuel pump and can be replace for a bigger one if needed
Q) How do I change calibrations from inside the car?
A) You can have up to 12 calibration option which are controlled via the Up and Down button of the cruise control on the steering wheel You will see which calibration you have selected with the tacho going to 2000rpm for position 2, 3000rpm for position 3 etc…
Q) How do you activate rolling antilag?
A) By pressing the Lim button on the steering wheel
Q) Can we use the OBD port still to log, read codes and clear them on other ECUs on the car like ABS?
A) Yes
Q) I have heard of the Autoblip, what is it and how does it work?
A) The Autoblip is used to replicate a heel and toe action without having to do it yourself. In certain conditions, the throttle body will open itself while pressing the clutch to allow rpm match on downshift. We are receiving the brake pressure and signal from a clutch switch and depending on the conditions you may have the blip of the throttle or not and you can have more or less blip too if you are in R-mode or normal mode. The Autoblip is fully customizable depending on your driving style and preferences
Q) Does the Syvecs ECU offer flatshift? A) Yes, Flatshift is enabled based on TPS position, RPM and clutch switch, when all the conditions are met, you will have a fuel and/or ignition cut to stop the engine to rev itself even if you’re still on full throttle.
Q) Does the OEM Traction control still works? A) No, the OEM Traction control is completely disabled and the Syvecs Traction Control takes over it. You can still disable the traction control completely if you wish to by using the OEM Traction control switch, the light will come onon the dashboard to let you know the traction control is now disabled completely. The traction control light will also flash when the traction control is active on the Syvecs to let you know wheelspin is occurring.
Q) Does the cruise control still works? A) Yes the cruise control still works but differently to the OEM ECU You will need to hold the speed at which you want the cruise control to be and then press Main on the steering wheel. The Syvecs will then hold the speed at which you pressed the button at and hold it there, bear in mind the vehicle speed needs to be stable when you press or it won’t register it. You won’t be able to increase or decrease that speed with + and – switches as they are now used to change calibrations.
Q) Does the Syvecs have launch control A) Yes, as you probably notice, the OEM Launch isn’t the best, so Syvecs takes over to offer you a much better strategy The launch is fully customizable (Boost, RPM etc…) and can be activated by pressing the Autostart button. When the light is on on the Autostart switch, the launch is activated, otherwise the launch is off.
Q) Everything sounds very good but what do I lose by removing the OEM ECU? A) We have worked very hard to integrate as much of the OEM function as we could. The only things that does not work with the Syvecs ECU are the hill-start assist and the possibility to increase and decrease speed of the cruise control as we are using Up and Down to change the calibration. You will also lose the engine oil temperature on the dash but the engine does not have an oil temperature sensor and it only shows an estimation of the oil temperature.

This is the latest product on the market for the Civic Type R from Remus.
Remus has released a product that amplifies the pedal signal that is emitted from the throttle pedal; this has the benefit of increasing throttle response and driveability with a complete plug and play removable solution. this leaves no trace on the car like a remap and takes literally seconds to fit.
The fitting is as simple as unplugging the throttle pedal and plugging in the Remus Responder.
The Responder features 3 buttons with 6 LEDs so that you know what it is doing, the first of the 3 buttons has the word "PROG" this is the button that allows you to choose the mode that the unit is in. The modes are Race, Race + and Eco.
The 2 buttons below allow you to adjust the trim of the amplification so that you can fine-tune the pedal response to your requirements, it features 7 different settings that you can customise; 3 that make the amplification curve more aggressive, a non-adjusted curve, and 3 to reduce the curve.

AEM’s X-Series Wideband UEGO Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor Controller Gauges are built upon unique, patented 100% Digital technology (Patent 9,575,030) that makes them the fastest responding wideband air/fuel ratio controllers in independent testing*.
The X-Series Wideband UEGO AFR Sensor Controller Gauge (PN 30-0300) measures 2 1/16th-inch (52mm) in diameter and features a modern, visually striking faceplate and new seven-segment centre display that is 87% larger than the 30-4110 AEM Wideband Gauge’s centre display. This creates the perception of a larger overall gauge, but in a common 52mm size for easy mounting. Its slim depth (less than one inch overall) and ultra-slim cup depth of .200-inches dramatically increases its application base and potential mounting locations.
The X-Series Wideband UEGO AFR Gauge has a user configurable display via buttons on the gauge face that allows you to change AFR values for different fuels, Lambda or O2%, change the centre display to three or four digits, perform a free-air calibration if desired as the sensor ages, and change the CAN message ID when linking multiple X-Series Inline Controllers or X-Series Controller Gauges. A black bezel and black dual-faced faceplate for air/fuel and Lambda are included, and an optional silver bezel with white dual-faced air/fuel and Lambda faceplate is available (PN 30-0300-ACC, sold separately). An Auto Dimming feature is included. Locking connectors ensure a positive connection between the harnesses and gauge and a new single board design adds to the new gauge’s durability.
The gauge includes a 0-5v and RS232 Serial Port output for feedback control and data logging, and an AEMnet (CANbus) output for data logging. AEMnet allows additional X-Series Wideband Controllers to be daisy-chained together (up to 16 cylinders) for recording AFR in multiple cylinders. It supports vehicle/system voltages up to 16V and can be used on EFI or carbureted applications, and dynamometers in applications using gasoline, methanol, ethanol, Diesel, propane, and CNG.
X-DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY X-Digital wideband technology gives these controllers the ability to read and report values that other controllers do not, which can deliver more optimized engine tuning and a safer overall operating condition. The controller’s high-speed digital implementation ensures no loss of signal fidelity and full transient response, making it able to identify the slightest fluctuations in AFR and output them in full value.
WHY RESPONSE TIME MATTERS Faster response time improves wideband feedback control and can provide a safer, more powerful and accurate tune. AEM’s Wideband Controllers with X-Digital technology can reduce dead time and improve the performance of your vehicle through more accurate AFR tuning. Deadtime is the delay between when exhaust gas composition changes and when that change is reported by the O2 sensor. While the flow of exhaust gases (transport delay) can affect deadtime, it is not the only source. Often, the sensing elements response to the gas is the largest contributor to deadtime when an engine is in high RPM under load.
When tuning an engine using wideband AFR feedback control on an inertia dyno, deadtime affects the data you are looking at because it is reported in a different operating location than when it actually occurred.This means with long deadtimes, whatever changes you make to the base fueling will likely be in the wrong location.This can be particularly dangerous to high compression and high-boost forced induction vehicles, and EFI systems that use feedback control to auto-tune.
Reducing deadtime improves wideband feedback control, and can provide a safer, more powerful and accurate tune.AEM’s Wideband Controllers with X-Series digital technology can reduce dead time and improve the performance of your vehicle through more accurate AFR tuning.
FACTORY CALIBRATION RESISTOR OR FREE-AIR CAL, IT’S YOUR CHOICE! The X-Series Wideband Gauge and X-Series Inline Controller support the popular Bosch 4.9LSU sensor and can utilize both the factory calibration resistor and free-air calibration methods**. This allows users to take advantage of the precise factory resistor calibration when a sensor is new but then allows for free-air calibrations if the user desires when the sensor ages. It’s the perfect marriage of simplicity and accuracy!
WHAT IS A WIDEBAND UEGO AIR/FUEL CONTROLLER? AEM's Wideband UEGO (Universal Exhaust Gas Oxygen, pronounced “You-Way-Go”) Controllers are powerful, cost-effective tuning tools that allow users to accurately monitor the Air/Fuel Ratio (AFR) of their engine.
WHY USE A WIDEBAND AIR/FUEL CONTROLLER? Accurate AFR data is critical when tuning an engine. Running rich (very low air/fuel ratio, excessive fuel) can cause a loss in power, while running too lean (very high air/fuel ratio, not enough fuel) may result in serious engine damage. CAN I CHANGE THE AEM UEGO SENSOR’S CONNECTOR? No. There is a laser-etched, calibrated resistor in the sensor’s connector body. This resistor is specifically created for the exact sensor that it is attached to. Modifying this will invalidate the sensor’s output.

FITTING DETAILS
Some differences have been noted on non-US spec cars in regard to the locator pins situated on the side of each connector. The locators can simply be sliced off with a sharp Stanley knife in order to get coil plug connectors to fit the new coil pack.

With the repair harness, we have followed the Honda wire colours to aid installation and avoid wiring mistakes.
Wire tails have been left with a little extra length than required to aid strain relief.
All harnesses are supplied with two butt connectors along with Raychem SCL heat shrink, with internal glue to ensure a fully watertight seal around the join.

The Syvecs WMI standalone controller is a compact but very powerful unit for controlling a complete WMI electronics system, safely and correctly. It has been designed to integrate into any car easily via the use of CANbus communications, allowing users to receive critical engine data from OEM or aftermarket engine ecus with the use of just 2 wires (does not need a Syvecs Engine ECU). This data can then be linked into the WMI controller for use in strategies or monitoring systems to provide a modern based control system with safety in mind. Additional sensors can also be connected to the controller to provide more data to further add safety into the system, like a Level Sensor, Flow sensor and Pressure sensor. If CANbus is not supported on the installed vehicle then the WMI unit will also allow RPM and Injector Duty to be picked up from wires in the original engine loom.
Advanced users can also setup custom can transmit option with the powerful CANbus section to allow bits or bytes to be sent on the OEM CANbus to invoke ECU Lights, Torque Limits and more.
The WMI controller is fitted with four Half Bridges drivers which are capable of driving Low or High and able to handle a maximum of 15amps peak/8amp continuously each. Pin Sharing is also available for the WMI Pump and Solenoid to handle double the current capabilities of a single pin.
Each of the four H-Bridge Outputs is equipped with a current monitoring circuit which is used part of the limp protection strategies to ensure solenoids are connected correctly and not shorting. If the WMI Solenoid or Pump is driven and no current flow is detected it will immediately invoke a Limp flag which can warn the users via a LED Output, CAN message to a dash or torque limit to an engine ecu. The same goes for a short circuit in the wiring causing a over-current situation which will set a limp flag as well and shutdown the output for safety.
The four 0-5v analog inputs fitted on the controller can be used for external switches, sensors or trim pots via the Scal – Pin assignment setup which is fully flexible.
Four PWM inputs are also fitted on the controller that can be used for Flow sensors, Rpm Signals and Injector Duty pickup.
Two CANbus interfaces are fitted on the WMI Controller which are flexible for transmitting any of the WMI parameters on the canbus. Receiving data is also possible from a Syvecs Ecu, OBD2 Protocol or a selection of supported OEM DataStream’s listed below:

The Hondata MAF 500 sensor replaces your Civic Type R (FK2/FK8) MAF sensor to increase the CTR MAF air metering range from 300 g/s to 500 g/s. With a stock MAF sensor, you will reach the maximum range with a stock turbo, airbox, and bolt-ons. When this happens the fueling becomes inaccurate.
The Hondata CTR MAF 500 accurately measures 60% more air with the stock airbox, which allows you to tune up to around 640 hp.
Installation involves unplugging the stock sensor and re-using the same two phillips screws to install the new sensor. A FlashPro modification file is provided with this sensor.
A must-have bolt-on for the Civic Type R.

This cable adapts the AEM 30-3300 Methanol Injection kit(sold separately) to your vehicle to allow FlashPro tuning of fuel and ignition. The installation and tuning procedure is in the help file.

AEM Water/Methanol Solenoid is a 2-way, normally closed 12V valve with stainless steel body for use with AEM Water/Methanol Injection Systems. The shut-off valve provides an accurate and consistent shut off and prevents siphoning under vacuum.
Stainless steel Water/Methanol Injection Solenoid (PN 30-3326) eliminates any chance of water/methanol flow into the inlet when the WMI system is not engaged. This affordable water/methanol injection accessory features high flow capability (3,600cc/min) and an impressively low current draw of only 0.75A that does not require the use of an additional relay.
The valve body features include 1/8” NPT ports with included push-to-lock ¼” hose fittings for easy connection and EPDM seals that stand up to corrosion for years of reliable use. It’s an inexpensive insurance policy to protect your high performance engine regardless of the brand of water/methanol injection system you are using!

AEM Water Methanol Injection Kit - V3

The AEM Water/Methanol Injection System is suitable for both turbo and supercharged vehicles. The advantages of this kit are it allows you to increase boost pressure and advance timing without having to run higher octane fuel, these kits are also effective for reducing engine inlet air temperatures and suppressing harmful detonation. Using this water/methanol kit can increase power by up to 20%.
This water/methanol controller is designed for petrol vehicles only with a maximum boost of 35psi, and comes with an on board MAP sensor with a molded in nipple for a boost hose pickup. The kit is also supplied with a fluid level sensor so it can detect if the fluid in the system is getting low or has an error.
The V3 250cc injector included in the kit has been designed using unique swirl generator technology which improves atomisation and delivers similar cooling capacity as a much larger injector but with reduced fluid use. With the V3 nozzle 1 gallon of fluid will give over 13 minutes run time at full pressure.

Syvecs Wireless Connection Module

The new Syvecs Wifi module is designed to work with our unique Ethernet protocol and allows calibrators/end users the luxury of being able to connect to our ECUs, expanders, and dashes without the need of a physical connection.
This can be a godsend when dealing with cars in a race environment where access is needed quickly, most of our mappers are able to connect whilst sitting 10 to 15 ft away from the car. This allows any other work to be carried out without getting in the way.
Each device has a unique SSID and Password allowing calibrators to connect to a number of cars without issues.
The New Syvecs Wifi Module is now available, designed to work with our unique Ethernet protocol – it allows calibrators/end users the luxury of being able to connect to our ECUs, expanders, and dash without the need for a cable!
It is the perfect tool for calibrators who work with drag cars and are able to monitor the track from competitors and adjust launch parameters seconds before to suit.
Circuit pit stop checks and adjustments now become a breeze and allow the calibrator to stand away from the car meaning less time trying to work around the pit crew.
Connection to multiple ECUs is now available with just a few clicks of a button.
