Milltek’s technicians have completed their redesign of the OEM exhaust system, doing away with the various pipe sizes and "pinch points" to create a much smoother and better flowing design. Milltek's development vehicle has been thoroughly tested on the road, race track and dyno to ensure it meets the brand ethos - performance without compromise.
The system comes in two different configurations to suit a wide range of intended uses: Road+ and Race.
There are five different Tip options available; Brushed Titanium, Burnt Titanium, Cerakote Black, Polished and Carbon Fibre.
All Milltek performance exhaust systems are manufactured from T304L stainless steel; giving you the satisfaction of knowing that our products are meant to last within some of the toughest environments. T304L is a highly durable form of stainless-steel that is far less susceptible to degradation and discolouration than many others of its kind, while it will last almost indefinitely.
As with all Milltek systems, quality is the watchword throughout. Aerospace-grade, non-magnetic stainless steel is used for the entire system (including clamps), with hand-finished welds and precision jigged construction. The result is an exhaust that fits as per OEM, but with a longevity and soundtrack that is anything but.
TAILPIPE TIP ARRANGEMENT
Milltek offer their Brushed Titanium, Burnt Titanium and Carbon Fibre tips in both OEM Style and Equal Size arrangements. The OEM Style option refers to keeping the small-large-small tip arrangement found on the standard FL5 exhaust system using 2 x 4" pipes and 1 x 4.5" pipes. The Equal Size options refers to keeping all 3 exhaust tips the same size, 3 x 4.5" pipes.
Please note that regardless of your choice, sound and performance will not be affected.
