The Takata Race 4 Point (Snap On) Harness featuring asm (anti submarining) system, combines the ultimate safety with Takata's famous high quality finish. This range of harnesses has been designed as the benchmark harness for motorsport, track days, drift or show cars. This belt is manufactured in accordance with the European Standard ECE-R 16.04 and Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 209. It is a legal seat belt for use in street cars in all US states with mandatory seat belt laws. The belt features a center push button release buckle and our shoulder belt asm^TM system to prevent submarining. 3" shoulder belts and 2" lap belts with comfort padding.

The lap belt Snap-On attachments brackets are sewn into the lap belts. The shoulder belt attachment brackets can be removed allowing you to wrap the shoulder belts to a harness bar or rollbar using the 3-bar adjusters provided. Belts are available with or without shoulder end fittings.

The Bolt-On version generally bolts to the existing factory mounting points for the front lap belts. The shoulder belts generally mount either to the rear "D" and "E" lap belt mounting points. Please see attached diagram for an explanation of these locations.

The Takata Drift II 4 point harness is ECE approved for street use and features asm (anti submarining) technology which prevents you from sliding under the lap belts in the event of a crash. 2" wide belts have bolt-in fixing plates with the shoulder plates being removable to facilitate wrapping around a harness bar/roll cage.

2" wide belts have snap hook fixings with the shoulder fixing being removable to facilitate wrapping around a harness bar / roll cage. This harness is designed to be attached to eye bolts at the lap belts.
