DESCRIPTION

Milltek’s technicians have completed their redesign of the OEM exhaust system, doing away with the various pipe sizes and "pinch points" to create a much smoother and better flowing design. Milltek's development vehicle has been thoroughly tested on the road, race track and dyno to ensure it meets the brand ethos - performance without compromise. 

The system comes in three different configurations to suit a wide range of intended uses: EC-Approved (a requirement for sale in some countries around the World), Road+ and Race. 

There are five different Tip options available, Polished, Cerakote Black, Carbon, Titanium and Burnt Titanium. 

As with all Milltek systems, quality is the watchword throughout. Aerospace-grade, non-magnetic stainless steel is used for the entire system (including clamps), with hand-finished welds and precision jigged construction. The result is an exhaust that fits as per OEM, but with a longevity and soundtrack that is anything but

The CIVIC TYPE R (FK8) has a maximum output of 320ps and a maximum torque of 400Nm even in the normal state, but it aims to improve the output in the entire range without impairing the high torque and high response engine performance in the low to medium rev range, which are also its features. , I have repeated many exhaust tests.

The main pipe uses SUS304 material Φ70, and the tail adopts Φ70 finisher for Φ145 cannonball type dual silencer which can be said to be a symbol of SPOON N1 muffler. By eliminating the throttle at each flange connection and making it a straight structure, the exhaust efficiency has been improved to the utmost limit and a high-quality N1 sound has been achieved.

SPOON has been developing the ECU in parallel with the development of the exhaust, but in order to further increase the output and torque with ECU tunes such as boost up, it is essential to change from the front pipe, and the front pipe with a pipe diameter of Φ70 Was made as a set.

Tomei source their own raw-materials, allowing for a significantly improved quality whilst maintaining lower prices. Having complete control over raw materials and manufacturing process' allows Tomei to produce high quality products at an affordable price.

Each system comes in 4 pieces, the mid section is connected using springs and clamps rather than conventional flanges. Joint springs are used to prevent cracks from vibrations, taking advantage of the flexibility of the spring. Whilst the springs do provide a secure connection, the clamp bands and slits on the pipe ends offer additional reassurance when installing.

Every flange is cut from 8mm thick titanium, making them highly resistant to cracking and warping. In addition, the opening diameter is kept the same as stock to ensure a secure seal.

The Type D and Type S systems use a silencer made with exhaust efficiency in mind. Each unit is embossed with the Tomei logo and polished and heat treated for their signature look. The fully titanium inner tube features perforations made to achieve an open area ratio of 32.6%. Using titanium provides durability, weight reduction and an iconic racing sound. Long glass wool fibres are used in all of Tomei's silencers. Longer fibres are more resilient to wear especially against prolonged high temperature and pressure conditions.

DESCRIPTION

Martelius's unique sound control solutions in this exhaust allow for zero highway drone with identical noise levels as standard into the cabin. In hard driving, the sound is significantly more aggressive than OEM. If you use a decat or sport-cat downpipe, the optional extra silencer is highly recommended for the best sounds.

A premium muffler with the titanium tail tip

Maintaining its full straight structure (the signature of J’s Racing exhausts), this is a premium semi-titanium exhaust with a stainless body and titanium tail.

The main pipe and the silencer are made of C304 stainless. Manufactured by the use of a three-dimensional bender, the exhaust pipe has beautiful curves which produce super smooth airflow with the optimal exhaust speed.  The popular dolphin tail boasts 114 mm in diameter for a very impressive view. 

Utilizing the TIG welding this exhaust is made by an experienced craftsman one by one with the quality of the utmost importance.

In order to achieve both an excellent boost response and a superb acceleration at a higher rev range,  the main pipes are designed as 70 mm – 60mm x2 with only one silencer.   The heavy low pitched exhaust note from the turbo will excite you for spirited driving.

The triple tip Invidia Gemini R400 exhaust system features a single-layer style tip exhaust for a robust and aggressive look. The R400 features independent muffler resonators for each tip to reduce weight and provide a deeper exhaust tone. 

In order to create a true 3" cat-back, Invidia decided to include the down-pipe/mid-pipe/front-pipe with this system. Meaning this system connects all the way up to the primary down-pipe making this a true 3" exhaust system!

Overwhelming Low Exhaust Pressure - 50％ of Original Pressure φ75 large diameter pipe and full straight structure reduce the exhaust pressure to 50% of the stock.

This significant exhaust pressure reduction enables the turbine to run smoothly from low RPM range, which results in the engine output increase in an entire speed range.

Also, this pressure reduction effect is enhanced as the tuning level becomes more advanced; the engine output can be increased to 540ps without engine power-loss.

DC Sports is proud to release the new 2017-2021 Civic Type R Exhaust System! The 10th Gen Civic Type-R needs a more aggressive exhaust note since the factory system is nearly silent. Increase the style, performance, and much-needed sound with our complete three-inch stainless steel exhaust system.

All of our kits are designed in-house and constructed of mandrel bent T-304 stainless steel piping. No modifications are necessary, as this bolt-on system will immediately produce the results you desire. Our low drone mufflers keep the sound levels in the cabin manageable while offering a throaty and deep rumble on both acceleration and deceleration.

After many months of extensive research, we are pleased to offer our Dream 3" Valved exhaust system.

Our system has been developed with a few goals in mind a Unique design, distinctive sound and strong performance. We have set out to develop an exhaust system based around a decated car. Most owners will be aware the larger gain in power would be from replacing the downpipe installed onto the K20C1 engine found in the FK8 Civic Type R.

With Trackday noise limits in place across the UK we have certain limits we need to obtain.

With the want for utilising an aftermarket downpipe during trackday conditions this would be the basis for our development to start from.

Utilising 3" 76mm Aerospace-grade, non-magnetic stainless steel pipework used for the entire system, we have smoothed restriction points resulting in performance gains that can be dyno proven.

UK built, hand-finished welds and precision jigged construction, results in an exhaust that fits as per OEM, but with a gain in sound and performance.

The Dream Automotive Replacement CAT pipe for the Civic Type R FK8/FL5 is made from lightweight T304 stainless steel for longer life and to give the owner a higher flow rate with reduced back pressure to release the engine's full capabilities. 

The de-cat pipe incorporates a tangential bend turbo outlet ensuring a perfect transition through its 3.5" bend tapered down to a 3" exhaust outlet. Hand-made to the highest UK Motorsport standards, TIG welded, using water cut machined flanges we can promise an OEM fitment.

Heat management

We have two types of heat management that are available for you to choose from:

Zircotec ceramic coating offers a 30% heat reduction, in comparison to a non-coated item. It is in effect “welded” to the substrate using our proprietary metal bond system; eliminating the need for exhaust wrap; protecting components against corrosion, and continuing to perform and look good. Zircotec coating can withstand temps of up to 900°C

Disclaimer: For off-road use only 

In order to be able to meet the Euro-6 emissions standard for the K20 turbo engines, HJS have developed a downpipe with sports cats.

The focus was on lowering the exhaust back pressure directly after the turbocharger as well as reducing the exhaust gas temperatures using a flow-optimised component.

Flow-optimised cast stainless steel is used for the inlet flange. The downpipe uses a 200 cell primary catalyst from a previous development for McLaren, which is supported by a short 300 cell secondary catalyst.

With this, HJS were able to significantly improve the exhaust gas flow while at the same time complying with the exhaust gas limit values. Comparative measurements on the Flowbench have shown that the mass flow has increased by around 27%.
