DESCRIPTION

Acuity Instruments Performance Shifter Base Bushings

The OEM base bushings on most Hondas and Acura's are made from highly compliant rubber. Thanks to leverage, the small amount of compliance the rubber base bushings add equates to a very noticeable "spongy" feeling in the shift knob during shifts. This bushing kit replaces the OEM rubber bushings with rigid 6061-T651 aluminum making for a much more decisive shift, even with a stock shifter. As an added touch, the bushings are coated in a purple Type 2 anodized finished, laser-etched with torque and driver specs, and paired with class 10.9 screws for strength.

This mod pairs well with our Shifter Cable Bushing Upgrade (use SKU 1881 for the GE8, 9th Gen Accord and FK2 or SKU 1917 for the 7th Gen Accord and EP3).

        Honda increased the aerodynamic performance of the new Civic Type R (FL5) but unfortunately did not address the risk an open fender vent introduces by allowing road debris at speed to cause damage to the side panels. High-end performance OEMs such as Porsche integrate factory preventative solutions within their vents to give owners peace of mind.

        Through countless hours of obsessive design, refinement and review, ALPLUS has developed a premium solution that maintains Honda's intended aerodynamics and design language for the FL5. Every detail counts, and in-depth considerations of even the finer points were made such as the optimal open-air percentage, laser cutting quality, finishing durability, ideal OEM clips that could accommodate the added part, and paying respect to Honda's heritage and designs (S2000/NSX).

        Even though the P3 V3 installs in your air vent, we keep in mind that you need that heat and A/C while designing each gauge.

        Electronics in a harsh climate? We've got that covered too.

        We've torture-tested our gauges to the extreme. From frozen solid at -94 F to physically melting at hundreds of degrees, our gauges function far beyond the limits of the in-car environment.
